Location
Reviews and Ratings
The hotel had a stunning ocean view but fell short of its four-star rating. Though the room was dark at night, the location was superb, very close to the beach and surf hire shops. The service was friendly but a bit too busy, offering helpful recommendations and amenities. The dining experience, while of excellent quality, could get a bit crazy. Facilities were well-maintained overall.
My stay at the hotel was overall pleasant. The room was okay, equipped with a fridge, safe, and TV, but the shower was a bit tricky to adjust for temperature. The balcony with a side sea view was a highlight, allowing for beautiful sunset and moon views from the bed. However, cleanliness seemed to be a concern during my visit.
I recently stayed at the hotel with both a school group and a Christian group. Overall, the hotel seemed like it may have seen better days and could use some maintenance. The rooms, unfortunately, lack soundproofing but offer a sea-view and a balcony, which was a nice touch.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The room, although smaller and without a sea view, was clean and I liked using the stairs each time. The service had its highs and lows, with some staff being very nice and helpful, while others were unprofessional and unhelpful. The location was central and good for sightseeing, although not as cozy as it looked in the pictures. The dining experience had its flaws, especially with the timing of restocking breakfast items. Despite these issues, the facility offered some positive aspects like a large swimming pool and comfortable sitting areas.
Upon arrival around 4 pm after a long bus ride, the hotel's rooms, though big and spacey, felt a bit outdated for a 4-star rating. The view could be better, and some parts needed physical effort to access like holding the shower head. The service was a mix as staff were very helpful but seemed confused at times with lots behind the reception desk. The location is fantastic right on the sea, with easy access by regular bus and bus/ferry, close to the beach, local shops, and restaurants. The dining experience was adequate but not outstanding, with limited variety and canned fruits served at the breakfast buffet.
The hotel offers spacious rooms with lovely sea views, equipped with plenty of storage space, a large flat screen TV with various international channels, a functional desk, a fridge, and complimentary tea and coffee. However, there was a damp smell in the room and the bathroom needed better cleaning. The service was a bit inconsistent, with some staff being barely civil while others were great. The location is fantastic, opposite the beach, and the dining experience was good, although the options were minimal. The hotel facilities are basic but functional.
The hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were decent, equipped with a fridge and a safe, but the shower required constant adjustment, offering either hot or cold water. The view from our room was excellent, ideal for observing the weather and people passing by.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of ups and downs. The location was fantastic, right on the sea with great views, but the noise from the road made it challenging to get a peaceful night's sleep. The rooms had some cleanliness issues and faced disturbances from visiting groups. Overall, a decent stay with some room for improvement.
The hotel is conveniently located just across the road from the beach and nearby restaurants. The rooms, although not very soundproof, offer a decent stay. The service, particularly from the humorous barman Nunu, was enjoyable. The breakfast quality was excellent, but some customers were not pleased about being asked to move tables. The location, while great being right in front of the beach, could improve privacy as the tables are close together. Overall, it's a good option for a stay away from the busy city center with a lovely fresh scent in the air.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were extremely loud and not relaxing, with a damp smell and dirty bathroom. However, the front desk staff were excellent, very helpful and polite. The location was a bit quiet but central, good for sightseers, and could be more inviting. The dining experience was nice with a basic breakfast. The facilities were decent overall.
The hotel could benefit from some improvements, but overall, it was a decent stay. The rooms were clean and adequately equipped, although they felt more like 3-star quality than 4-star. The service was a mix of friendly and efficient, with some areas needing more training. The location was relaxing and had some good facilities, but transport options to Lisbon were limited. The dining experience had its ups and downs, with some cold dishes but good timing to avoid crowds.
The hotel is a relaxing spot close to the beach, offering great breakfast options and friendly staff. However, the rooms are quite aged and could use some improvement.
